The method

The 18-Month Theory

Eighteen months, four stages, and a payoff at the end of each. The first value lands in weeks, and you can stop at any payoff with something that works.

Before month 1, in the first weeks

Install Base Diagnostic

Fixed fee, paid on signature

A fixed-fee read of the customers you already have: where renewals are at risk, where expansion is hiding, and what to fix first. You keep the readout whether or not we continue.

Months 1 to 5

Research

We learn your base before changing it: who your customers are, how they use what they bought, and where renewals are already at risk.

You get: customer segments, health signals, a renewal calendar and baseline numbers.

By month 5: a renewal forecast you can trust, and the first at-risk accounts back on track.

Months 6 to 9

Foundation

We build the program your team will run: playbooks, onboarding, success plans and business reviews.

You get: playbooks, an onboarding path, success plans and a business review format.

By month 9: new customers onboard faster, and the first expansion conversations come from the plan.

Months 10 to 14

Maturity

The program moves from people into rhythm and tools, so it keeps working on a busy month.

You get: an operating rhythm, health scoring in your own tools, an expansion motion and team enablement.

By month 14: renewals run on a calendar, and expansion pipeline comes from the base.

Months 15 to 18

Materialization

The work shows up in signed contracts. We hand the program over and step back.

You get: renewal and expansion results, board-ready reporting and a full handover.

By month 18: the second contract signed, and a team that runs the program without us.

Common questions

Do we need all 18 months?

No. Each stage ends in a payoff you keep. Most clients start with the Diagnostic and decide from there.
